About Richard’s Two Shekels

This blog is part of a column I’ve written, formerly known as My Two Shekels but now known as Richard’s Two Shekels. The purpose of both the column and blog is two-fold: to evangelize the world and to both edify and encourage fellow believers in Jesus Christ. As for my educational background, I graduated from Pensacola Christian College in 1995 with a bachelor of arts degree in history and a minor in English. In 1998, I completed the Russian Basic Course (the equivalent of an associate’s degree) from Defense Language Institute in the Presidio of Monterey, California. I am hardly a scholar–just someone with questions. I want to know not only why I believe what I believe, but if what I believe is really anchored in truth.
